Volvo S60 Polestar Show Off At LA Auto Show



The original car manufacturer from Sweden, Volvo will bring S60 Polestar concept model, at Los Angeles Auto Show 2012 that will held later this month. In fact, the Volvo S60 Polestar Concept already introduced in June. Now, Volvo has made the LA Auto Show 2012 to go back show off the presence of S60 Polestar, on 28 November.

As reported by the Inautonews, Volvo S60 Polestar Concept it comes with conservative body kit, with roll bars that are large. The brakes also uses a high-performance model, plus the use of the suspension sport system, which combined with Polestar alloy wheels measuring 19 inches.

Volvo explained, S60 Polestar Concept relying on six-cylinder engines with turbochargers Garret 3171. The air intakes were also updated, with modifications in the combustion chamber.

The cylinder head is also new, as well as armored Ferrita exhaust system. The Total power output that can be achieved through the figure of 508 Hp (370 kW) and peak torque reached 570 Nm (424 lb-ft).

Volvo S60 Polestar was able to record the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h just in 3,9 seconds. While capable of achieving maximum speed of 300 km/h. Volvo S60 Polestar will be placed for dealing directly with the BMW M5, Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG and Audi RS6.

Volvo Recall XC70 And S80

Volvo did a recall or withdrawal from circulation on two variants thereof, i.e. Volvo XC70 and S80 are circulating in the United States (U.S.).

According to the Institute of Administration and NHTSA in the U.S., it is done because both of variant Volvo is having problems on the system monitor wind pressure tires. As reported by Autoevolution, Thursday Sept 6, 2012.

"This damage can lead to the driver because unable to get information if the tires need to get air pressure. Riders would not know conditions of the tires. If this problem is left well enough alone and potentially an accident," said NHTSA.
