Now, in order to expand his business, Apple is innovating to plunge in the automotive world by developing a car that later uses the Apple brand.
As reported by Carscoop, Thursday November 22, 2012, Shane Baxley, transportation design scientist from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, United States, think the car is the right choice to expand Apple.
Finally in April 2012, Baxley has completed a project car-sharing service, where Baxley design a car for the Apple named iGo. Car design results Baxley is a car with electric power. The first is iMe, this ultra compact car is much smaller because it is only capable of accommodating one person, and can be used in urban areas, as well as being able to travel up to 35 miles.
Then iWe, this car might be sort of like a sedan and claimed as a family car which is able to travel quite a distance of 298 miles.
And the third is iU, This car is development of iMe and iWe. Even though it looks the same as iWe, this car can only accommodate two people and is able to travel as far as 199 miles.
This three car is controlled by Apple Cloud network. According to Baxley, 75 percent of all vehicles on the streets will be using a Cloud technology.
Where the car can arrange a trip even at high speed. Surely come also equipped the device safety and zero emissions.
For iWe and iU use of Lithium-ion battery from Tesla who blends in with the car chassis. These electric motors can be sped up like any other car, from 0-62 miles/h in 5 seconds.
