A new variant of the Jaguar F-Type gets a warm reception from the public to directly record the numbers most recent two thousand units. Jaguar responded immediately by providing other options for F-Type. This time, Jaguar plan to introduced manual transmission for sports sedan variant. But this F-Type MT has yet to be presented by Jaguar in the 12 months ahead.
As described in the Jaguar Global Brand Director, Adrian Hallmark, Jaguar F-Type with manual transmission is still in the planning stages long term. The original manufacturer from United Kingdom would not have launched the F-Type manual in the near future.
"Sports care always need manual transmission, to keeping the credibility of sport car. Perhaps we will use the format of the XF for F-Type manual transmission. But its development is still long," explained Adrian Hallmark as reported by Inautonews.
As reported earlier, the production version of the Jaguar F-Type was introduced to the public at the beginning of this year. Jaguar F-Type comes in three models, the F-Type V6 engine with 3,0-liter capacity that has a of 340 Hp, as most standard models.
Then there are the Jaguar F-Type S, with the same engine V6, 3,0 liter, but output has reached 380 Hp. And the highest version of the F-Type V8 S, which had a V8 engine and is capable of spitting out power 495 Hp and peak torque of 625 Nm.
