Volvo Recall XC70 And S80

Volvo did a recall or withdrawal from circulation on two variants thereof, i.e. Volvo XC70 and S80 are circulating in the United States (U.S.).

According to the Institute of Administration and NHTSA in the U.S., it is done because both of variant Volvo is having problems on the system monitor wind pressure tires. As reported by Autoevolution, Thursday Sept 6, 2012.

"This damage can lead to the driver because unable to get information if the tires need to get air pressure. Riders would not know conditions of the tires. If this problem is left well enough alone and potentially an accident," said NHTSA.


Further, the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) is an advanced feature for easy owned Volvo drivers control the wind pressure and the condition of the tyres. Aftert NHTSA looking this problem, it turns out correc if TPMS is having problems. He knows this issue can be seen from the monitor displays a message that reads TPMS Service Required. this message is displayed after the car was running 15 minutes.
