Autoexpress, Friday July 30, 2012 : Good news for lovers of Volkswagen (WV) Beetle wherever. This time around, the latest generation of the VW Beetle had two different machines, i.e. petrol 2.0-litre turbocharged TSI and 2.0-litre diesel engine TDI.
For gasoline engine 2.0-liter TSI will be embedded on the sport variant equipped with a turbo that is capable of spewing power 197 bhp and 38,2 mpg fuel consumption. The engine was mated with a manual transmission six acceleration so that it is capable of running 0 to 10 km/h in 7,5 seconds.
While the 2.0-litre diesel engine TDI is capable of spitting out 138 bhp power and fuel consumption is 57,6 mpg and mated with a manual transmission six acceleration so that it is capable of running of 0 to 62km/h in 9,5 seconds.
The latest generation of the VW Beetle will also be equipped with the same standard features as previous generations, i.e. on Sport models equipped with alloy 18 inches, stained glass, cruise control, sport seats, parking sensors and dual zone climate control.
Meanwhile, prices for engine VW Beetle 2.0-liter TSI priced from 22.295 Pound for Sport models and diesel models priced from 21.850 Pounds.
