Subaru Developed BRZ Turbo Version


Not satisfied with the applied technology, Subaru Japan is now developing a turbocharged version of the Subaru BRZ. As reported by Carbuzz, Wednesday, October 24, 2012, the display does not change much, but the power is increased to 80 HP.

Not only that,
Subaru also not working with Toyota in developing a turbocharged version of the BRZ. Whereas, before Toyota and Subaru were to develop an affordable sports car Toyota 86 and Subaru BRZ.

Now,
Subaru BRZ equipped with a turbocharged single twin-scroll turbocharger, direct injection, and horizontally-opposed embedded on the same engine, the 2.0-litre.

In doing so, Subaru BRZ which initially only had 200 Hp power, with a turbocharger into a 280 Hp. in addition, the maximum torque that initially 170 lb-ft was also increased to 250 lb-ft. Any change in power, Subaru BRZ turbocharger version are on the increase in acceleration and speed.

It's just not yet divulge the other specifications of the Subaru and the price. Rumored, Subaru BRZ turbocharger version are likely to be present with the new name i.e. Subaru STI in 2013.
