German car manufacturer, Volkswagen (VW) has finally announced that the latest generation of the VW Beetle will get two new engines. The two engines were the 2.0-liter TSI and 2.0-liter TDI.
For the 2.0-liter gasoline engine TSI fitted with sports trim is capable of producing a total output of 197 HP and mated with six-speed manual transmission. With this engine, the new generation Beetle can accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 7,5 seconds. As reported by Inautonews, Tuesday Sept 18, 2012.
Meanwhile, the two engines namely the 2.0-liter TDI diesel engine capable of spraying power 138 bhp and fuel consumption of 57,6 mpg and mated with six-speed manual transmission that can run from 0 to 62kmh within 9,5 seconds.
Furthermore, the price for VW Beetle engine 2.0-liter TSI priced from 22.295 pounds. For the Sport model and for diesel models start from 21.850 pounds.
